I have had some time this week to devote to just 'playing'. After being inspired by Suze Weinberg at the ROTR workshop recently, I finally got out my melt pot.
I knew I wanted to use black UTEE and perfect pearls but really just wanted to experiment with different uses.
I hadn't expected to creat anything useful but I really like the piece in the top left corner. Made by pouring straight onto the craft sheet and stamping into. Then colouring with perfect pearls.
This is not a technique to use for those who like perfect straight edges and neat finishes (like me usually!) But if you can handle a bit of 'randomness' then give it a go. It certainly inspired me to try other things with the pot and UTEE - I am currently trawling the internet for buttons and cameos and other bits to make moulds with. Keep you posted.
